Is Career Training Right For You? Take The Free Quiz |
With Virtual Assistant training, your skills are transferrable across industries. From finance to construction, automotive to clean energy to fashion, media, and agriculture, your options are nearly limitless! That said, you must have the skills to do the job.
Virtual Assistant training prepares you to work in all these industries with skills like research, data entry, content marketing, event planning, travel booking, website maintenance, calendar management, expenses and invoicing, and social media strategies. Every industry needs someone with these skills. A Virtual Assistant works like a business’ right hand, they are a vital and powerful source for the company.
Kirsty Oliver Pilgrim, a CanScribe graduate, said this about her experience as a Virtual Assistant:
“…I was looking to upgrade my Microsoft Office skills after being a Stay-At-Home Mom for 10 years. I have been doing some work for home as a Virtual Assistant to a Safety Consultant for the past 5 years. But I had my sights set on expanding my skill set so that I could offer my services to other small business owners and entrepreneurs who perhaps didn’t need (or their budget couldn’t allow for) a full-time or even part-time staff member.”
With Virtual Assistant training under your belt, remember that the key to your success is growth. You must be willing to grow, learn new things and expand your knowledge set. It’s a great thing to use your passion to get you the kickstart you need. Are you passionate about communication, helping people, and sharing stories? Marketing or social media might be something you could specialize in.
But as you grow, so do your skills and experience. Your skills and experience make you more attractive to more employers and clients wanting to do business with you.
