Sheryl Chiasson. AQuity has employed Sheryl since January 13th, 2022. She graduated on Dec 8th, 2021.
“My sisters-in-law are both successful graduates working as MTs. When I saw the flexibility that allowed my one sister-in-law to continue working while being there for her children amid COVID shutdowns, I was so impressed.
When my husband and I first began talking about the possibility of my returning to school, I did not really think much would come of it. I had considered returning to school so many times over the years but never found something that really fit my life. Once I started looking into the program itself and began talking with Admissions, the decision came so easily.”
Bonnie Poss. RHCF has employed Bonnie since August 12, 2022. She graduated on March 17, 2022.
“Like many other people, I was in a career that lasted for many years, but due to changing health, I needed to find something else to work at. I tried finding low-key jobs that would enable me to work and yet continue to gain back my health stamina. I had taken a government program to help me with the things I needed to get back into the workforce. Through that, I was able to upgrade my computer skills.
During that time, while looking for a job, I came across an ad for CanScribe college. Getting in touch with them was a good day for me. Although I did not have any idea if I could go back to school at nearly 60 years of age, the instructors and CanScribe team have helped to give me back my confidence. I have enjoyed the course. There have been some tough spots, and you wonder if you will ever be able to get it all. I kept telling myself, ‘One report at a time.’ There have also been so many other things they have offered that have helped.”
Ainsley Mariani. NTS has employed Ainsley since May 13, 2022. She graduated on March 1, 2022.
“After working in the veterinary industry for 10 years, I developed significant “veterinary burnout” (a real thing in the veterinary world) and knew that I needed to switch careers for the sake of my mental health. I thrive in a solo working environment, and I wanted to find a career where I could work from home.
I already had training in medical terminology, and I have always enjoyed typing and working at a desk. After doing quite a bit of research on various MT schools, I eventually found CanScribe. I knew immediately that the program was legitimate, as the school is accredited and their website has all of the information on the program laid out in a clear and concise manner.”
Courtney Peelar. LDMTS has employed Courtney since September 2020. She graduated on March 17, 2020.
“When I came across the Canscribe website in my pursuit of a stay-at-home job, I knew I had found what I was looking for. The staff were so personable and helpful with my many questions about the Medical Transcription/Healthcare Documentation program, and once I took the leap, they were with me every step of the way through the program.
When I graduated in March 2020, right as the world shut down as the pandemic started, they were still there. Due to the pandemic, I was not able to find work right away, Canscribe reached out periodically to see how the job search was going and remind me they were there.
I found work in September 2020, and Canscribe had set me up for success. Two years after graduating, I am loving the work life and the opportunities that Canscribe has opened up for me. Two years later, they still reach out. To say I am happy with my experience would be an understatement.”
Kirsty McNally. NTA has employed her since July 8, 2022. She graduated on February 9, 2022.
“My experience with CanScribe is honestly the best I have had throughout all of my school life.
I’ve always found it difficult to learn from most teachers, but I have found that all of the staff and teachers I have had throughout the course have been wonderful in helping me to learn and understand the course material. They take their time to go through everything with you, which has made all of the difference for me.”
Christine Kiernander. AQuity has employed Christine since June 3, 2022. She graduated on April 27, 2022.
“My experience with CanScribe is supportive. I am not familiar with being supported, have trouble with grammar, and did not think I could afford to return to school.
CanScribe underpromised with what they delivered. I thought I would have access to medical information and dictation practice, only to find there is support all along the way, a grammar section, guidance on how to find information, and so many great tips on how to manage your life as it pertains to working in this industry.
I am really impressed with the encouragement to find your style of learning (if not) and the way the information is provided to facilitate that. Thank you.”
We are proud to have not just these students but many more succeed in our programs and build the life they want to see. These student success stories inspire us, just as we hope they inspire you to kickstart the change in your life you want to see.
