Job Summary

CanScribe Career College is looking for an experienced Inside Sales Representative to join our team. The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for handling customer inquiries promptly and effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. We experience a high number of inquiries, so it’s important to maximize your time on the phone before moving on to the next lead.

Responsibilities

  • Convert sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up
  • Answer all queries and keep excellent record of all contacts for the basis of call-backs and follow-ups
  • Asses leads to ensure that the appropriate time is being assigned to hot leads and minimal time is spent on cold leads
  • Take an active role in creating an enjoyable working environment
  • work with potential students over a 3-6 month process to determine their career training needs and enroll them in the suitable courses
  • The customer is always right. Inside sales reps will need to be able speak in a friendly way to customers and potential customers, listening to their needs and helping communicate options for them.
  • speak to customers about a product’s different features, and answer any questions they might have
  • Reach monthly sales targets and contribute to the growth of CanScribe Career College
  • Ability to handle rejection, as not every lead will become a sale. The ability to bounce back is crucial for the Inside Sales Representative

Requirements

  • Ability to understand the students problem and quickly move them to the appropriate solution
  • Ability to work in a team environment and have respect for peers
  • Close sales and achieve monthly quotas
  • Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day
  • Experience with InfusionSoft or a similar CRM
  • Ability to follow processes
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Must be available to work the occasional evening and weekend

Job Summary

CanScribe Career College is looking for an enthusiastic marketing assistant to support marketing managers and senior marketing professionals with various tasks. The primary focus of the marketing assistant will be to provide support on projects designed to maximize company profits, including the development of sales strategies and marketing campaigns.

The ideal candidate for our marketing assistant position is open to feedback, confident and calm under pressure, grateful and hardworking personality, and self-motivated to complete tasks on a deadline with little supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strategies to improve on existing and past marketing efforts
  • Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the departments activities.
  • Support marketing executives in organizing various projects
  • Conduct market research analyze consumer rating reports / questionnaires
  • Create and deploy a semi monthly email Newsletter
  • Design  testimonials into graphics and deploy across all social media platforms.
  • Assist with promotional activities; host presentations, organize customer events
  • Compose and post online content on the company’s website and social media accounts
  • Create marketing materials (brochures, videos, press releases, catalogues, etc ) to increase the company’s brand awareness.
  • Analyze data compiled from questionnaires and other market research
  • Analyze data to uncover industry trends
  • Work with brand ambassadors to enhance the company’s brand exposure
  • Assist with sales presentations by gathering relevant resources including proposals, slide decks, videos, quotations, and other information as requested
  • Research and update competitor database to conduct comparative analysis of company performance in the market
  • Track existing marketing campaigns to completion and report on results

Requirements

  • Previous experience in sales and marketing preferred
  • Awareness of the education industry and current developments
  • Ability to show examples of marketing work and writing skills
  • Good understanding of office and marketing principles
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of MS office, Adobe, WordPress and CRM tools
  • Exquisite verbal and written communication skills
  • Confident to lead online presentations verbally
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Confident public speaking and networking skills

Essential Duties and Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Answer all queries and keep a record of all communication with students.
  • Follow up with students as they proceed through the course and give the appropriate feedback and assistance with course questions.
  • Record keeping for the progress and evaluation of each student.
  • Record keeping of each student’s time spent transcribing reports.
  • Quality Assurance Editing for all reports submitted by students through our Practicum Program (if applicable).
  • Attend weekly Chat sessions, communicate with attendees and respond to student questions.
  • Moderate Forums on a daily basis.
  • Course content review and development based on student feedback and instructional department review.
  • Provide unlimited job placement assistance to all CanScribe graduates.
  • Integrate the elements of the CanScribe vision and mission statement in all strategies and activities.
  • Provide active leadership and maintain an effective working relationship with all staff.
  • Take an active role in creating an enjoyable working environment.
  • Demonstrate consistency in meeting deadlines and being motivated to complete tasks as the team takes them on each week.
  • Take pride in excellence and demonstrating a commitment to service delivery.
  • Be flexible and willing to adapt to changing circumstances as new needs and priorities are identified.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Instructors must hold the appropriate credentials as required in their career field. They must start the “Train the Trainer” program through NACC within their first year of employment.

The instructor must possess a CMT or CHDS credential.


Education and/or Experience

  1. All CanScribe Instructors are hired with the requirement that they have industry-specific education and work experience. A teaching foundation is a definite asset.
  2. CanScribe instructors must have a degree /diploma/ certificate related to the field of study supplemented by 24 months of full-time occupational experience in the field of study or 10 years of demonstrated experience in the field of study.
  3. All MT Instructors must have 12 months experience using online distance education delivery either as an MT Student or an MT Instructor.
