This funding is designed for non-status and off-reserve Indigenous peoples, and Metis people outside of Red River who are not part of the Metis national council.

Although not limited to these groups of people, those who meet the above requirements will be prioritized. If you are a status holding Indigenous person, you may still apply and can receive funding.
