Participant Agreement

This Agreement outlines the general expectations of the Participant enrolled in Agriculture Technology Program at CanScribe Career College. By signing this Agreement, the Participant agrees to actively participate, contribute their best efforts to the program, and communicate any challenges to the Organization in a timely manner.

The Organization is investing in this program to help people transition into Agriculture.

Commitment By engaging in this program, the Participant agrees that they are committed to investing in themselves through learning and finding a job in the Agriculture sector within Canada. They commit to applying for roles in the sector throughout and after the program.

The Participant must communicate to the Organization when they have successfully accepted a new job.

Attendance Due to the condensed time frame and intensive nature of the program, the Participant is required to attend all scheduled sessions unless stated otherwise.

For any sessions that are not deemed mandatory to attend, the Participant is expected to communicate absences to the Organization as early as possible. While the Organization will note the absence, it is the Participant’s responsibility to ensure they have requested and completed any work required to catch up to their cohort.

Communications and Support

The Participant is expected to respond within 48 hours of communications received from the Organization.

The Participant must connect with the Organization about any questions or challenges they experience throughout the program.

Class Participation

The Participant is expected to participate in sessions actively, engage respectfully in discussion, and, where applicable, turn on webcams and microphones during virtual engagements.

Coursework

The Participant is expected to complete and submit all assigned coursework on time. This includes any tasks assigned from program onboarding to the end of the program experience.

Survey Completion

The Participant is expected to complete kickoff and post-program surveys. These surveys help CanScribe Career College better support participants and constantly improve our programming.

Recording

Participants are not permitted to record sessions. Recordings of sessions may not be available.

Confidentiality

The Participant may be required to sign an additional NDA by employer partners so they can share confidential information.

Program Materials

The Participant will receive materials as part of the funding, however, students unable to complete their program will be required to return these items to CanScribe Career College at the expense of the Participant. Completing the program transfers ownership of all materials to the Participant, including the laptop.
