FOOT PEDAL SOFTWARE
EXPRESS SCRIBE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Express Scribe allows you to play digital files and to control the dictation utilizing function keys on your keyboard along with a foot pedal.

1. Click on Download Express Scribe For Windows
2. Click on "Run"
3. Read the License Agreement
4. To install, click on "I agree with these items" and click "Next".
5. Uncheck Express Dictate - do not install
6. Click "Finish".
7. The Express Scribe window should open and you should hear audio instructions.
8. Connect your foot pedal.
9. Click on "Options", "Controller".
10. Click on the "Controller Setup Wizard"
11. Click "Next"
12. On the "Detection Method" screen, choose "Use a detected controller" If the system does not already indicate it, from the pull-down menu choose :"VEC Infinity IN-USB-1 / IN-USB-2 (USB). Click "Next"
13. On the Controller Command Map / Test screen, press each pedal and confirm the word "Yes" appears under the "Pressed" column.
14. Click "Finish"
15. Click "OK"
