Students have up to one year to complete the course and you can study in the privacy of your own home or on campus.
All of our students receive a one year license through Benchmark which includes electronic versions of the Stedman´s Medical Dictionary, Quick Look Drug Book, Stedman´s Medical Spellchecker, Stedman´s Abbreviations, Acronyms & Symbols Stedman´s Medical & Surgical Equipment Words, Stedman´s Medical Terms & Phrases, Normal Lab Values, QAlerts (Dangerous Abbreviations), Physicians and Dentists Database, AHDI Book of Style and an AHDI 1 year Membership. Additional reference materials include a USB transcription foot pedal, downloadable transcription/footpedal software, a Spectra SP-PC Headset, and the L´il Red Notebook Software.
CanScribe graduates also participate in a mandatory Practicum where they transcribe real patient files.
